FORM AND COLOR: EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY THE PEOPLE’S ARTIST OF RUSSIA ZURAB TSERETELI IN ROSTOV-ON-THE DON

Sholokhov Center in Rostov on-the-Don hosts a solo exhibition of works by the People’s Artist of Russia, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli. The solo exhibition brings together 40 works of the artist including his 3-D enamels and sculptures of small forms.
Zurab Tsereteli is a recognized master of cloisonné and unique three-dimensional enamels. He has revived the old technique of enamel production, developed and expanded the possibilities of enamels for decorative and monumental decoration of public buildings and interiors. The themes of his works are diverse and universal. His enamels demonstrate amazing coloristic qualities achieved by the master as a result of his multiyear experiments.
