FUTURE IN THE PAST: EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY THE PEOPLE’s ARTIST OF RUSSIA TATYANA NAZARENKO IN MMOMA

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents a major solo exhibition of Tatyana Nazarenko, one of the most distinguished figures in the post- Soviet and contemporary Russian art, People’s Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Curated by Liudmila Andreeva, Anna Arutyunyan, Andrey Egorov, the exhibition  “Future in the Past” has been arranged according to theme principle and is tracing the key topics, genres, motifs and images which Tatyana Nazarenko has been creating from the early 1970s till nowadays. The project also showcases recent works from the Family Album and Monuments series, Moscow Table installation and others. The works by Tatyana Nazarenko are in collections of major Russian state museums and private collections.
