The Gorky Park Museum presents an exhibition of the sculptor, graphic artist, jeweler, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Dashi Namdakov (b. 16.02.1967) featuring the artist’s jewelry works made of gold and silver in combination with bronze, bone and precious stones. The author’s design impresses the imagination of the viewers with ingenuity and takes them into the world of deep cultural symbols. In his art there are contexts of Buryat mythology, Buddhist images, Scythian motifs and Western traditions.

The exhibition “Between Heaven and Earth” is a preamble to the summer show of Dashi Namdakov’s sculptures in Neskuchny Garden in the June of 2020 which will be also presented at the Biennale of Modern Art in Venice in 2021.

Dashi Namdakov’s more than 80 solo exhibitions have been held around the world. His monumental sculptures can be seen in the Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions, Kazan, Nur-Sultan, Tuva, Krasnoyarsk and other cities and regions. His artworks are in the State Hermitage, Russian Ethnographic Museum in St. Petersburg, Museum of Oriental Art, as well as in private collections worldwide.
